I'm not doing too well with the "picking up" procedure, though. I mean, I've got a lot of female platonic friends. I've got that down pat. I can act flirty. I'm actually rather good at that.

I suspect I'm fast becoming the stereotypical "nice guy"; the bland but sympathetic human that has to listen to his single female friends whine about how they can never find sensitive males. This is odd, because I am also fast becoming the stereotypical Internet geek.... and those two archetypes are not supposed to mix.
